New package from Anam Treo:
Root. Transform. Transcend.
Intensive Support for Eating Disorder Recovery
At Anam Treo, I offer personalized, tailor made, Individual framework for working with eating disorders.
This offering is for those who have run up against the limitations of traditional eating disorder treatments.
My approach to this transformational work:
First, I offer the asset of having walked the path myself. Lived experience, empathy and understanding and a real knowledge of what it takes.
And, as we know, transformational work and developing new habits takes TIME. I offer patience, understanding and “stayability” . I come with curiosity, openness, and non-judgement.
I believe that NoOne is beyond Recovery.
I also offer accessibility, and in our current culture, that’s a rare commodity.
At Anam Treo, I strive to meet every client where they are in their recovery process, wherever they are in the stages of change process , and also, where they are at any given moment. I offer flexibility dependent on clients' needs.
The Methodologies I employ are eclectic, ranging from self /soul /spirit partswork, elements of Gestalt, nature connected experiences (nature as co- collaborator) and mentorship. All employed approaches are client-led, organic, and trauma-informed. I partner WITH the client, encouraging ownership of their own recovery process.
I do require that this client base work within the team framework; client always as quarterback, I run point as coach, and collaborate with and for the team. Requiring open and honest communication, leaving egos at the door, with Registered Dieticians, Primary Care Doctors and Therapists. Another benefit of working with me, is that I have established relationships with professionals in the above mentioned practices, and can help form a team that fits with the client, and can and will advocate for higher levels of care if necessary, while still maintaining an active role with the client.
In short,
At Anam Treo, I help clients move from merely surviving… to THRIVING!
Individualized packages could include:

Raves from clients:
“Suez has been a source of hope and light for us in the treatment of our son’s long term eating disorder. She has been the first professional in 16 years that has truly supported us along with our son as he moves through his very difficult recovery journey.
Her personal experience with her own long term eating disorder has allowed us to have a deeper understanding of the struggle and journey that our son has endured. She has provided us with incredible insight and has guided us through our son’s treatment, recovery process and helped us to set up boundaries and expectations as his main support people.
Suez has also been an incredible communicator and mediator when it comes to dealing with sensitive conversations and having respectful discussions regarding issues or concerns.
She is completely invested in our son’s recovery and helps us to hold him accountable throughout his recovery process.
Her expertise and assistance in building a treatment and support team for our son’s non-traditional treatment and recovery journey has been invaluable. After 16 years and half a dozen treatment centers we realized that traditional eating disorder treatment centers were failing our son. Suez’s approach to treating chronic and long term eating disorders has been a game changer and has given us hope for the first time in many, many years.”

“I have been working with Suez for over a year now. Since I’ve struggled with an eating disorder for over 15 years, it is apparent that my eating disorder is inherently devious and deceptive and has destroyed my life. Without the proper support, recovery and getting better is nearly impossible. Recovery cannot happen by yourself. You need help and the support and guidance of others who know what the recovery process takes. Having fought her own demons and eating disorder, Suez has been guiding me and walking alongside me as I am taking on my recovery. A few big hurdles I’ve faced are being transparent and honest with others as well as myself, learning to feel all emotions, and learning to speak what my soul needs and wants (instead of what the eating disorder wants).
Since I’ve been working with Suez, I have been able to be more honest, transparent, and vulnerable with myself and others. Sue always has an open heart, mind, and soul and meets me where I am at. There’s no judgment or shame. Through her own experiences, she knows firsthand all of the discomfort, hurdles, and feelings. Additionally through her love and connection with nature, I have been able to utilize my love of the outdoors to help me in my journey when things are tough. Unlike other guides/mentors I have worked with, Suez creates a welcoming and safe space to share what’s on my heart and mind and just be real and raw even if it feels uncomfortable in the moment. Another helpful approach she has offered is Instead of telling me what she thinks I need, she asks me what I want and need and then helps me work towards things I want to achieve.
By giving me ownership of my recovery, it continues to help me to stay engaged and move forward rather than stay stagnant or relapse. She is more than a guide and mentor. She is a role model and living example of what life can look like without being under the control of an eating disorder. She is a genuine friend, advocate, and voice of reason who wants nothing more for me than a life free from an eating disorder.”
